Classes are offered here (see below) at our Long Beach Training Facility, or at your location.
We schedule 40 hour courses once per month at our facility for individual registration.

8 HOUR HAZWOPER ANNUAL REFRESHER
OSHA requires annual refresher training for any person who has previously completed course levels of 8, 16, 24, or 40 hours. This Training includes tabletop exercises, reviews of key topics of initial training, updates Federal/State compliance regulations and discusses new developments.
8 HOUR HAZWOPER FIRST RESPONDER OPERATIONS
Recommended training for employees who initially respond to an incident to protect the environment, persons and property from injury and/or damage. Topics include identification and recognition of hazardous materials, employee right-to-know, obtaining information in an emergency, ad personal protective equipment use.
24 HOUR HAZWOPER EMERGENCY TECHNICIAN
This course covers the topics of planning, preparation and execution of emergency response operations. Training incorporates day one topics, adds additional materials and includes a nationally recognized course of CPR/FA training.
40 HOUR HAZWOPER GENERAL SITE WORKER
This four day course incorporates the topics of the 24-hour with additional training in hazardous waste site health and safety issues including Confined Space, Electrical Lockout/Tagout and D.O.T. The course format includes tabletop exercises and emergency response exercises with personal protective equipment. Fit testing also available.
HAZWOPER applies to five distinct groups of employers and their employees. This includes any employees who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances, including hazardous waste, and who are engaged in one of the following operations:
1- Clean-up operations — required by a governmental body, whether federal, state, local, or other involving hazardous substances — that are conducted at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites.
2- Corrective actions involving clean-up operations at sites covered by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA) as amended (42 U.S.C. 6901 et seq.).
3- Voluntary clean-up operations at sites recognized by federal, state, local, or other governmental body as uncontrolled hazardous waste sites
4- Operations involving hazardous wastes that are conducted at treatment, storage, and disposal facilities regulated by Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 264 and 265 pursuant to RCRA, or by agencies under agreement with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to implement RCRA regulations
5- Emergency response operations for releases of, or substantial threats of releases of, hazardous substances regardless of the location of the hazard.
